This is a personal project about a western style hat maker in Virginia City, NV. I love photo stories. I love to get out, walk around and then find something that would make an interesting story with pictures. Its hard to pass the barrier of actually taking pictures of strangers, but when I can pass it I love what happens. Originally from Sonoma, CA when Tom moved to Virginia City he started to hone his skill as a hat maker. It was interesting listening and talking to him about what goes into the hat making process.
